Shared Apartment

Our shared student apartments are modern, well equipped and located within walking distance of the Academy and the town centre. Puerto de la Cruz is a popular holiday resort and offers old world charm as well an extensive shopping area. There is a wide range of cafés, restaurants, bars and clubs. If you enjoy the beach there is a choice of the Playa Martianez - which is good for surfing, or the landscaped “Playa Jardín” - this garden beach, with its long promenade, it is an ideal place to stroll, relax or just watch the sun go down.

The apartments are comfortably furnished with sofas, a dining table and chairs and a TV. The Kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare you own meals, including: crockery, cutlery, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, cooker and a fridge freezer. There is also a washing machine, an iron and ironing board.

Every bedroom has a wardrobe, drawers and a bedside table. We provide sheets, duvet covers and a pillow but please bring your own bath and beach towels. Many of the three bedroom flats have two bath or shower rooms.

The common areas are cleaned every week by our own staff.

• Deposit: € 50. This deposit will be refunded in full if the accommodation is left in the same condition as when you arrived.
• Week basis: Check in on Sundays, Check out on Saturdays (until 12 noon). Alternative arrangements are possible for a suplementary charge, see "extra days". Check-in after 22.00 will cost an additional €30.00
• FU International Academy is responsible for the weekly cleaning of all common areas, please note that you are responsible for cleaning your own room during your stay.
• Tenants are collectively responsible for keeping the whole apartment clean and tidy.
• Before your departure make sure your room is clean and tidy.
• Transfer (airport-accommodation) from North and South airport.
• Arrival by airport transfer: The bus driver from the transfer company will take you directly to your apartment. He/she will give you the keys and information about the local area and how to get to the Academy.
• Arrival by Bus: The taxi driver will pick you up from Puerto de la Cruz “Jardín Botánico Bus Stop” (first stop in Puerto de la Cruz) and drive you to the apartment. The driver will give you the keys and information about the local area and how to get to the Academy. (Fee for this service: € 4.50).

We advise people who choose this type of accommodation that they must be adaptable and prepared to live with other people from different nationalities and cultures and be sensitive to their way of life.
