Diving in Tenerife is a must for those looking for a bit of adventure. There are dive sites to suit scuba divers of every level of experience, from novices to experienced deep divers. Explore shipwrecks, underwater caves and coral gardens; enjoy the thrill of being face to face with magnificent rays and the colourful denizens of Tenerife’s marine habitat.
All the dive sites are easily accessible and Tenerife has many diving clubs and centres to arrange scuba diving trips. You may even take Instructor courses here to qualify as A PADI instructor thus launching your own underwater career.
The scubadiving school in Puerto de la Cruz is owned by two brothers and they have lived in Tenerife since 1993. Both are CMAS Instructors as well as PADI Instructors. They will show you the beautiful volcanic dive sites and teach you some new skills. The dive-sites are thrilling! Many dives lead through caves and labyrinths of lava. The crew will accompany you during all dives. An easy dive to start with form shore is obligatory. After a detailed briefing in boat-diving you may then enjoy the walls and the big fish on a boat-dive.
They are offering courses for beginners and they have some super easy dive-sites for beginners and those divers who don’t feel experienced enough yet. For everybody who is willing to improve their scuba skills they recommend the following specialities: Navigation, Deep Diver, Cavern Diver and Night Diver as well as the complete course program from PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors).
