Trip to Anaga
The area of Anaga Mountains is one of the most beautiful places in Tenerife. In its' exceptional landscape everybody will find something: hiking trails, beaches, good gastronomy etc.
Along the mountains you will find plenty of places of natural and scenic interest, such as Roques de Anaga and Almáciga.
Because of all that, we chose to go and see this beautiful place. With the bus we went from Puerto de la Cruz to Taganana. From there we walked to the San Roque beach, Benijo and at least Almáciga. Here a little overview of our trip:
After we arrived Taganana coming from Santa Cruz with the Bus, we set out for Playa San Roque. From there we had a beautiful perspective over the sea and the coast of Anaga, though it was a bit foggy.
Maren und Maria were suprised how few tourist there were. The sea was full of waves, so there were many locals who came to surf and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere.
Before we moved on to Benijo to take a brake on midday, Erika enjoyed the stunning perspective over the sea and the picks of Anaga.
Once arrived in Benijo, the fog disappeared and we could see an adorable Panorama.
From Benijo we restarted our way. Maren and Maria found a little forest way that went to Almáciga.
Erika was positively surprised how many-sided the picks of Anaga were.
From our hiking trail we had a wonderful perspective to the beach.
Finally we arrived in Almáciga, Maren, Maria and Romaine could admire the fabulous picks of Anaga and the Playa San Roque.
We were impressed by the small village especially by its' typical canarian character.
