Our opinion poll on the language courses shows positive results
The FU International Academy´s main activity is teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. Within the framework of our Quality Management programme, we give all our students a questionnaire. We have just evaluated the last 6 months' questionnaires and we can take pride in the results. We surveyed 252 students who had attended our language courses during the last six months. We asked them to evaluate 12 points relating to the course structure, general organisation, the teachers, the facilities, etc., they could choose between; very good, good, average, not so good, and poor. We are proud to have achieved a satisfaction rate of 90%.
We have five different courses with a maximum of six students per course. In small classes we can respond to each pupil´s needs and get the best results. 47% of the students surveyed estimated the quality of the course to be very good and another 47% as good.
They were satisfied with the structure and the wide range of the course topics. Furthermore, our well-qualified teachers were rated as very good by 62% and as good by 31%. They are able to transmit their enthusiasm for learning Spanish and place great emphasis on conversational skills.
The classes take place in the International Academy in Puerto de la Cruz where we have 7 classrooms and 2 computer rooms. The participants felt at ease here: 53% rated the Academy as good and another 29% of the pupils as very good. All of them were satisfied with our staff in the admistration office.
Our classes start at 9.00 a.m: 30% of the pupils liked the course timetable very much and 52% thought it was good; because of the way classes are scheduled, they had enough time to enjoy Puerto de la Cruz and to make use of their new knowledge of the Spanish.
