You can get stamps - sellos - at any post office as well as in some kiosks and tobacco shops - estancos. The current rate for a standard size letter or postcard within the EU is € 0.65 but postage charges rise annually. Delivery from and to another European country may take at least one week. In Puerto de la Cruz phone boxes are found on nearly every corner from where you can make international calls at a reasonable cost. You can pay with coins or by phone card. Except for some small areas the mobile phone network in Tenerife is good and is covered mostly by Spanish and international companies e.g. Vodaphone, Movistar, Orange etc. Before your trip you should make sure that the international roaming facility is activated on your mobile phone. While at the Academy students can make use of our computers and free Wi-Fi. There are also several cyber cafes in Puerto de la Cruz as well as in other places all over the island.
