So Why Should You Study with Us?

We teach Spanish and ONLY Spanish

Our school specialises, which means all of your teachers are completely focused on teaching you Spanish. Why do we do this?

We know the best way for you to learn a language is from an experienced teacher who knows what they’re talking about. Our teachers are all native speakers and teach Spanish every day, so they know exactly how to get you from beginner to fluent.

Only teaching Spanish has other advantages too. We have become experts in learning Spanish, so we created our own Spanish teaching system.

Students and Teacher in Class

We Have Divided the European Reference Framework into 48 Sub-levels

Each level = One week of intensive Spanish

The classes are grouped in accordance with the European Reference Framework from elementary A1, then A2, B1, B2, C1, to C2 (proficiency).

Each level is subdivided into different sub-levels, for example: A1.1, A1.2, A1.3, A1.4, A1.5, then B1.1, etc.

How Can You Be Sure You’ll Advance Your Spanish Skills with Us?

Our FUIA team are Spanish teaching experts

Our Spanish teachers

Each and every one of our teachers is not only highly-qualified in teaching, but they’re all native speakers!

How do we select our teachers?

We choose staff who can bring new teaching methods and ideas into our school, which is why our teaching methods are always advancing.

Besides qualifications, we also prioritise having friendly teachers! The best way to learn is from a native who you can have REAL conversations with. Which is why we make sure all of our teachers are chatty and fun to work with.

Our staff are all here because they love helping students to advance their skills. We also choose people who want to work with us long term, meaning you can make lasting friendships with your teachers year on year!

We never say no – Individual wishes of our students are fulfilled everyday

We can book hotels, organize any excursions you have interest in, print out boarding passes, help obtain visas, accompany our clients to the doctor, help you if you lose your keys and we even have a 24/7 emergency phone number.

Why do we do this? That’s an easy one – because we value our students and always work hard to do our best to keep them happy and satisfied. We know this approach works as we have many returning students and others who extend their course once they are here.

Our Spanish school in Puerto de la Cruz

You find us in the green north of Tenerife

The landscape in the North is uniquely beautiful. The beaches have black volcanic sand and are often located below steep cliffs. In this region everything is very green and fertile as winter showers refresh the landscape. The Orotava Valley can sometimes be cloudy compared to the South which is generally a few degrees warmer.

Our school is located in Puerto de la Cruz which retains its old world charm as a local fishing port. Here, life has a gentle pace and tourism mingles harmoniously with everyday Spanish life. Around the main town square, La Plaza del Charco, there are numerous restaurants and bars and it is the focal point for the many traditional local fiestas.

Also in the north is the lively university town of La Laguna. With its beautiful historical centre, it obtained UNESCO world cultural heritage status some years ago. It’s only 25 minutes by bus from Puerto de la Cruz.
